At Modern Momma Lactation, care is centered on providing thoughtful, continuous support throughout the entire feeding journey—from prenatal preparation through weaning. Every family’s experience with infant feeding is unique, and needs often evolve as babies grow and development changes.
While a single consultation can address immediate concerns, many feeding challenges and individuals breastfeeding goals benefit from timely follow-up visits, ongoing assessment, and adjustments to the feeding plan.
A continuous care approach allows the provider to monitor progress, support infant growth and milk production, and guide families through each stage of feeding with evidence-based recommendations.
Breastfeeding support may include but not limited to latch and positioning guidance, nipple pain and damage support, milk production support, infant weight and feeding assessments, pumping guidance, returning to work while breastfeeding, bottle introduction, starting solids while continuing to breastfeed, and weaning support.
When appropriate, continued care may be recommended to ensure families receive consistent, personalized support aligned with their feeding goals and their baby’s developmental needs.
Families seeking comprehensive, full-spectrum lactation care may find this approach to be the best fit, as it reflects the provider’s standard model of care.
